The United Graduate School of Drug Discovery and Medical Information Sciences at Gifu University is proud to announce the establishment of the Fukutomi International Student Support Fund, which aims to provide support and encouragement to highly qualified, globally aware students from overseas as they work with their Japanese colleagues to prepare for clinical or research careers in medicine. The fund has been endowed through the generous support of Dr. Osamu Fukutomi, Director of the Eishu-Kai Medical Corporation Fukutomi Children's Clinic and will be administered under the auspices of the Gifu University Fund.

We anticipate that by providing this support to promising overseas students, we will not only contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice globally, but also provide stimulation and encouragement to their Japanese student peers and researcher colleagues for the benefit of all.
