First contact with the prospective professor

First of all, we would like you to contact your prospective professor and confirm whether he or she could accept you or not. In the case of being accepted, your prospective professor nominate you as a candidate to our graduate school.

Interview test and screening ( by the middle of December)

We will give an interview test through Skype system.
Total 30 minutes
For the first 20 minutes, you will give a presentation to our two faculty members about your resent research or study and results.(Either with just paper or with your PC (Power Point)). Last 10 minutes wil be Q and A time.

Graduate school will screen applicants after the interview.

Notification of the interview test and screening result ( by the middle of January)

You will get the result from us.

Prepare for applying for MEXT scholarship ( by the end of January)

If you are selected as an applicant, you will get ready all the documents for applying MEXT Scholarship and submit them to our graduate school.
(The details about application for MEXT Scholarship is informed after you pass our interview test and screening.)

Notification of the screening (by the beggining of March)

Gifu University will screen applicants. If you are selected one of the applicant, Gifu University will submit you to MEXT.

Notification of selection result by MEXT ( by the beginning of May)

If you pass the screening by MEXT and will be selected one of the Japanese Government scholarship recipients, you will be able to enter our graduate school in Oct.,20XX.
